The population of Lord Howe Island is also included. The number of people living in the area will reach more than 1.9 million by 2031, with the most significant increase being the number of people aged over 65 years.

Chair Report

Rene Pennock, Chair of Board

In my second year as Chair, I remain proud of the contribution Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network makes to the health and wellbeing of our region.

This year marked an important milestone as we celebrated CESPHN’s tenth anniversary. Over the past decade, the organisation has grown in capability, influence and maturity while remaining focused on the needs of the communities it serves. This achievement is a credit to everyone who has contributed to CESPHN’s development since its establishment.

CEO Report

Nathalie Hansen, CEO

It is a privilege to reflect on what CESPHN and our partners have achieved together during 2025/26.

This year demonstrated the critical role CESPHN plays in bringing partners together to respond to community needs, improve access to care and strengthen coordination across the health system. Working alongside general practice, allied health, local health districts, community organisations, consumers and government, we have continued to improve how care is delivered, accessed and experienced across central and eastern Sydney.
